USHERS/GREETERS It is the purpose of the Door Keepers (usher/greeters) to prepare for worship, maintain decency and order, act as host for God, do the work of evangelism, and promote public relations.  The usher's contribution to the worship service is far reaching.  Not only does it influence the work of the pastor, but the entire congregation.  The usher can be the difference between a visitor becoming a regular member or going elsewhere.                                       A Church Usher's Prayer In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
